Methodology
- Sources
- Coverage
- 55 resorts, 10 winters each, 2016-11-01 to 2026-04-30.
- Rules
- A month "holds" its snow when mid-mountain depth is at least 30 cm on 67% of its days.
- Christmas reliability uses December (month 12); February half-term reliability uses February (month 2).
- Season reliability is the average across December–March; only winters with all 12 months of data are counted.
- A resort needs at least 5 complete winters to be ranked, capped at the most recent 10.
- Limits
Modelled reanalysis at the resort’s mid-mountain point, not a piste measurement: snowmaking, grooming and slope aspect are not modelled.
The number of winters behind each figure (N) varies by resort; check the "Winters" column before comparing two resorts closely.
